Jordana Bryant Releases Her Rendition of “Driving Home For Christmas”

Country artist and singer/songwriter Jordana Bryant is welcoming in the holidays with the release of her version of “Driving Home For Christmas” available today, Friday, November 3. Breathing new life into the 1986 single by British singer-songwriter Chris Rea, Jordana modernizes the tune with updated instrumentation and crisp vocals. “Driving Home For Christmas” is a song that Jordana has always held close to her heart, for more reasons than one. “I grew up listening to this song during the Christmas season. It was always the first song we added to our Christmas playlist, and we would always play that playlist whenever we were decorating our tree or baking Christmas cookies,” Jordana shared. “It was only really in the last couple of years that I realized not a lot of people in the U.S. knew the song; it was primarily popular in the UK. My parents fell in love with the song when they heard it there and continued listening to it when they came back to the U.S. It's a song that I hope to share with more people over here because, to me, that is what I think of when I think of Christmas.”

2023 has already had many high notes for Jordana, including her debut on SiriusXM’s The Highway with single, “Can I Get It Back,” as well as the release of her self-titled debut EP which reached #10 on the iTunes country album charts. The EP features fan-favorite track “Penniless and Broke” which was added to Spotify’s New Boots playlist, praised by Billboard as a ‘Must Hear New Country Song’ and featured by Glamour. Her latest release, “18,” was a coming of age staple that continues to demonstrate her ability to tap into emotions and situations that resonate with not only her peers, but others before her that have gone through similar phases of life. The song was also added to SiriusXM’s The Highway‘ On The Horizon’ weekend programming, her third song to be added into their rotation.

Jordana recently wrapped up a tour opening for Season 21 winners of NBC’s The Voice, Girl Named Tom. She also performed at Elevation Beaver Creek in October and is currently touring across the US opening for viral country artist Alexandra Kay.
